Bussière-Dunoise, France
Product description
French secretary made of solid precious wood in the Louis XV style from the 1950s. This beautiful piece of furniture is decorated with an elaborate, detailed inlay, which shows floral motifs all over the body. The two decorated sides have a slightly curved design that emphasizes the elegant style of this piece of furniture.
When the desk is opened, a writing surface made of beige leather is revealed. The desk has 4 drawers in 2 sizes and 4 storage compartments - all made of high-quality wood. There is a spacious drawer under the desk with plenty of storage space.
This inlaid cabinet stands on 4 slightly curved cabriole legs which, like the front drawer, are decorated with motifs in ormolu bronze. Versatile and perfectly sized, this beautiful piece will bring a timeless style statement to your living area.
It is in good vintage condition with age related wear on the surfaces. There are some small pieces of inlay missing from the front legs and the leather writing surface shows some signs of wear as can be seen in the pictures.
